I show up to events in a big fuzzy hat, sometimes a zebra-stripe bath robe. My business card has me in a suit on one side, but wearing a "wife-beater" on another, while 4 lingerie models are ripping it off of me. I tell jokes even when one should be serious. I still get hired for projects. I'm a creative type, and I'm not afraid to show it. I constantly push and prod others to be themselves, and I even lecture on how to emphasize your own personal brand & persona.

In this day and age, people NEED to be themselves. They need to be happy- express who they are, not hide it. When it's all said and done, not only will you be happier, but you will attract clients that match your persona, and that you can enjoy working with. They'll appreciate you for who you are-- It is better to be hated for who you are than loved for who you are not.

Don't ever stop wearing those stilettos! :)
