First, given its extensive major overhaul almost a year ago until the day, Epiphone from the modern era, inspired by Custom Collection Gibson, is seen as one of the most remarkable editions of the company in recent years with good reason.
With the prices for regular EPIS for the rise and the limit between high-end epiphons and the entry level, Gibsons blur, inspired by the personalized Gibson range, seeks to make the division even smaller, leading to Gibson approved meetings in the impressively specific composition of SG, Les Pauls, ES models.
The main among them was the Open Book of Open Book – a key characteristic of Gibson’s aesthetics, which, after paving the way to a selected number of epipon performers (Kirk Hammett’s Greeni Greeny Road), was deployed for a standard production line for the first time.
